PANORAMA OF PIC BLANC: THE ROOF OF THE ALPS...
From the Pic Blanc, at 10,925 ft, the highest point in the Grandes Rousses Massif, you have a fabulous panorama overlooking 1/5 of the french territory and awarded three stars in the Michelin Guide. View on the Mont blanc, the Mont Ventoux, the Massif Central, Italy, Switzerland. Pic Blanc is accessible from Alpe d'Huez, Oz and Vaujany. You can even post a postcard there, it will be stamped Pic Blanc.

PANORAMA MARMOTTE III
From the station of Marmottes III, another viewing point is waiting for you: you will discover a magnificent panorama of l'Alpe d'Huez and its ski area, the Chartreuse, the Massif de Belledonne and the Vercors. At the exit of the station on the western hillside, you will admire the Massif des Ecrins, the Meije, the Plateau d'Emparis, the Sarenne valley...

A SHORT TRIP IN A CATERPILLAR PISTE BASHER.
Ideal to relax and enjoy the mountains. The ski lift company proposes 2 circuits with the Caterpillar, the Ronde des lacs and the Crete du Signal to discover the surroundings, ice falls, frozen lakes and anecdotes which mark the different places. Departures every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM in the front of the Grandes Rousses DMC for a stroll of 1h30.

THE ICE CAVE
Two mountain guides, Bruno Gardent and Bernard Lambolez, had the idea of digging into the snow at an altitude of 2700 m, to make an ice cave and fill it with mysterious sculpted inhabitants. this years' theme is the sea. Ideal for a family visit. The cave is reached via the Grandes Rousses DMC. You can even get married there...
Price per adult : 4.00 € - Price per child : 3.00 € (not included in the Visalp - to be paid at the entrance of the ice cave)
One way trip : DMC until the altitude of 2700 m + entrance at the ice cave :
