Winter is to be over and it is time to prepare youR mountain bike for a new summer season of donwhill.
Alpe d'Huez is preraring your summer season and its 250km of mountain bike pists.
Why not testing already in April your mountain bike ?
Alpe d'huez is organising on April 19th 2008 a downhill on the mythic pist Sarenne for confirmed bikers :
· A downhill of about 2000m of negative height.
· A downhill of 16 kms
· A day of pur pleasure.
Nicolas VOUILLOZ and Ophélie DAVID, our ambassadors will come with you and test the SARENNE.
Some pratical details
Date : Saturday April 19th 2008
Meeting between 9:00am and 10:00am to the Grandes Rousses Cabin at the top of Alpe d’Huez resort, at 1860m
Climbing to 3300 m with cabin and telepheric
Downhil of the Sarenne Pist (Compulsory equipement : integral helmet, gloves, kneepad and elbow protections)
First part of the down hill in the snow
Final part in the forest
Arrival in the village of Huez
Retun to the resort with a telecabin
Meal organised to Alpe d'huez resort with musical animation.
Possibility of mountain biking in afternoon with Huez en Oisans cabin
