A summer in Vaujany

In summer Vaujany offers the charm and the seduction of an authentic mountain village.

From the nearby village of Vaujany, the ‘Dome des Rousses’ cable car links up directly to the Alpe d’Huez domaine.  A further nine gondola lifts (see lift schedule) widens your itinerary over  250km of tracks and 37 MTB trails.  See Bikers’ map

Alpe d’Huez habitually welcomes many mountain biking events, but the most famous is the Megavalanche which unites 2,000 participants from more than 20 countries competing over seven days.  The final course starts at the top of Pic Blanc, 3300m above sea level, finishes in the valley below at 1300m.

Vaujany is also an ideal starting point for excursions through the nature reserve: vary your walks over 230km of footpaths and circuits. See Walkers’ map

With the Premium lift-pass (a multi-activity pass) gain free admission to all of the leisure activities  in the ‘Espace loisirs’ centre, Vaujany, use of the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, spa and fitness centre inclusive.

Grand Galaxy : with your 6-day (or more) Premium lift-pass you also have access for the day to the MTB trails of the neighbouring resorts of Les 2 Alpes, Serre Chevalier and Montgenèvre.
