Alpe du Grand Serre in summer

Situated between Grenoble and Alpe d’Huez, the Alpe du Grand Serre resort is built at the top of a col between the Romanche Valley and the Roizonne Valley.

At 1368 m-high, it is borded by the Massif du Taillefer and the Grand Serre Mountain.

Only 150 people are living there permanently !

Even if the SATA Company is managing this resort since 2001, the ski activity and turism began in 1938 ; in 1960, the first name « La Morte » is replaced by « Alpe du Grand Serre ».
